Hall of Heroes

Below are brief capsule Bios/Observations of the various player
characters currently inhabiting the world of Erisa .

Amber Delamorte (Assassin)
Amber is a Member of the Assassins Guild in the Free city of Port Kar.  She considers herself a Professional at what she does and takes exception to being labeled a Thief or Murderer.  Amber has a strict code of ethics that she adheres to and despite her grim profession she is a rather charming young lady.

Amra (Priest of Norebo)
Amra is a Wemic from one of the plains tribes neighboring the Northermark Confederacy.  For reasons yet to be explained he left his tribe and decided to explore the lands of Erisa.  During one of his wanderings he befriended a Priest of Norebo and was converted to the faith.

Azirr (Mage)
Azirr is a Mage from the lands of the Abbashan Empire. He is a scholar and academician by trade and has found employ in the courts of several noble houses as a Wizard and consultant on matters arcane. His quest for knowledge and magical items has often gotten him into trouble but somehow he always manages to stay one step ahead of peril.  His constant companion is his Familiar a hawk by the name of Tetsu-Ko.

Euric (Warrior)
Euric is a Mercenary soldier from the desert lands bordering Demornte and Sellonar.  Euric is as tough and harsh as the desert he was raised in.  He is a "charge straight on in" type of Warrior who fights as dirty as he has to in order to get the job done. While he has no head for tactics, he is a loyal companion and the best person to have on your side in an alley fight.  He is skilled in a variety of weapons and is an exceptional swordsman.

Garrick (Mage)
Garrick is from a tiny unnamed village in the Northermark Confederacy.  He was apprenticed to a minor hedge-wizard there but had to leave in a hurry when a miscast charm spell turned all the adult villagers, temporarily, into lust maddened fiends.  Arriving in Port Kar he somehow talked his way into an apprenticeship under "Fitzgig the Terrible" one of the premier Mages in the city.  Garrick is a somewhat misunderstood lad. His ability is exceptional, his training adequate, but his reasoning and application have yet to mature.  He has a bit of growing up to do, but never the less he has great potential.

Juma (Priest of Obra-Irca)
Juma is from a distant Kingdom of mountainous jungles far to the east of Abbashan.  In this land he was a prince, though as the fourth son it was certain he would never rule.  Being of the Noble Caste he was trained as a Warrior, and it was expected he would become a general in the kingdoms armies.  However Juma had different plans. He joined the priesthood of Obra-Irca, God of journeys.  He has since wandered the world content to see new places and serve in causes he deems just.

Kai Wintermane (Warrior/Rogue)
Kai is From the Merchant nation of Ravvika.  He is the son of an Elven mother and an unknown human father. Kai's mother died after giving birth to him. A human couple raised him. Though greatly loved by his foster parents others of his village shunned him because of his unusual parentage. At 17 he left for the sea where he spent several years serving aboard a Ravvikan privateer. Recently tiring of the life of a sailor Kai began working as a Bounty hunter in the Free city of Port Kar.

Kord (Ranger)
Kord is a Half Elven Ranger from Pellen though he has spent his recent years in the Northermark confederacy.  He is a gruff no nonsense warrior who tends to see matters in black and white in his eyes you are either part of the problem or part of the solution. He has no respect for fence sitters. Despite his commitment to the causes he champions he has a strict code of honor that he follows and will not willingly violate that code for anyone or anything.

Lerek (Priest of Heldar)
Lerek "the Lucky" is a young Ravvikan Priest. He once followed the teachings of Lugh (The Ravvikan name for the deity Balacris). But has since converted to the faith of Heldar, following an epiphany he experienced while visiting the Shrine of St. Nevron in Dunador.  Lerek is a gentle soul who is rapidly being introduced to the realities of the adventuring life, when he left Ravvika it was in the company of two boon companions, he later saw both cut down in battle within 10 days of each other.  Lerek still manages to see the best in people and truly is the spiritual heart of his group.

Meran (Paladin of Heldar)
Sir Meran of Angle is a knight from the island nation of Pellen.  During the liberation of Pellen from the Vampyre Kings of Demornte, Meran served as a squire to his father the Baron of Angle.  In the battle Royce Hill he distinguished himself by saving the life of Lady Alia, a Paladin of Heldar. He was consequently offered an appointment to Tetherton Abbey, a Military College for followers of the faith. Following his Investiture as a Paladin of Heldar he was quested to find and return the rightful heir of Dunador to his throne.  Meran is born to command but is at times overly cautious and still gaining the experience needed to use his abilities to their furthest potential. He is a strong arm in battle and his courage is unquestioned.

Red (Rogue)
Red started out as an NPC. He was given the name Red (As in "Red Shirt" a Star Trek reference to an unimportant character, usually someone from security, doomed to die by the episodes end) to replace his original name, Hobbit #9. Once the initial Hobbit encounter was done I decided the party needed some more punch so I fleshed out some of the nameless NPC allies. Red made the cut.  The more I used red the more I liked him, so eventually he made the glorious transformation from nameless NPC to full-fledged PC status. Red was an orphaned hobbit raised by a human couple in the forest kingdom of Dunador. His foster father was a trapper and hunter. He passed these skills on to Red.  Red now uses these skills to aid his new found friends.  Red has always admired intellectual people and he is fascinated with magic and as such has appointed himself unofficial bodyguard to Azirr the mage. Azirr in return is teaching red how to read and write.

Revedri (Warrior)
Revedri is a young warrior from Port Kar. She is best described as a Blade, those swashbuckling members of the upper crust who thirst for adventure but cant abide the discipline and routine of the military. She is descended from adventuring stock (which may explain where the family's modest fortune derives). She hides her inexperience with a mask of confidence and indifference, thereby appearing almost blasé when faced with all but the most terrifying of challenges.

Rue (Warrior)
Rue was born in the nation of Broaq Nohar. His father was a high priest in the faith of Heldar and wanted for young Rue to follow in his footsteps. Such was not to be the case. Following expulsion from the seminary (It was rumored he was caught reading tomes of forbidden lore while working in the seminary library, was responsible for the pregnancy of two female students) Rue joined the Army. He excelled at his training and was soon commissioned as a cavalry officer.  Though he could have had a promising career, based on his abilities and head for small unit tactics he was considered too impetuous and at times his attitude bordered on insubordination. After an incident at a Bordello that involved the death of a brother officer, Rue was cashiered out of the Army. He subsequently left Nohar and took to the life of a wandering mercenary officer.  He hired on with the government of Sellonar and commanded a cavalry unit during the "Thornwar" and was decorated several times for bravery.  After the war he traveled to Pellen where he hired out to several dukes and barons attempting to rid the land of the last vestiges of the Demornte invasion.  It was here that he somehow ran afoul of a local witch priestess of Louhi who placed a curse on him.  From that point on he has been unable to keep a command for long. In professional circles he is considered a Pariah. Though never a warm or kind soul, Rue now displays a coldness about him.  Most people can't place it but they just don't feel comfortable around him.

Tess (Warrior)
Tess is a Tuchuk warrior from the Thunderbeast tribe. Like most members of this tribe Tess' family had settled down and began to farm the land.  One day while Tess was away, Raiders attacked the homestead and sacked it killing all of Tess' family. When she returned home to the ruins Tess buried her loved ones and swore a blood oath over the grave of her father. Taking his war axe, she has been hunting down the raiders one by one for over two years. She has beheaded every one of the raiders she has encountered.  While on her hunt she made the Acquaintance of Sir Meran and his group, their goals ran a similar path as the raiders she was currently seeking were rumored to be in the service of the forces opposing sir Meran and his Questors.  After proving herself able she was invited by Sir Meran to join the group.  She has proven her worth on more than one occasion. Though a gentle and good-natured soul at heart, Tess is a terror in battle, at times entering in a beserker rage that would be the envy of Morrigan herself.

Wojcieh (Bard)
Wojcieh the Bold, "The Polka King of Dunador", is a huge bard of great
talent, renowned throughout the Northermark Confederacy for both his
wonderful tales and music, and his enormous size. His brightly-
painted mule-drawn wagon is a welcome site to villagers everywhere,
for they know that they will be truly entertained with bawdy songs
and tales of heroism. Wojcieh often accompanies bands of adventurers,
believing that it is best to "write what you know."
